Today we present a series of flash fiction stories by Rose Blackthorn. Rose lives in the high mountain desert of Eastern Utah with her boyfriend. She also has a two-year old Australian Shepherd nicknamed Boo, and a Yorkie puppy fittingly named Shadow. She spends her time writing, reading, photographing the surrounding wilderness, and doting on the aforementioned fur-kids. She is a member of the Horror Writer’s Association and has been published in several magazines both print and online. She contributed to the zombie anthology New Dawn Fades released in Nov 2011 and the Necon E-Books flash anthology released in Mar 2012. Graeme Dunlop

Graeme Dunlop is a Software Solution Architect. Despite his somewhat mixed accent, he was born in Australia. He loves the spoken word and believes it has the ability to lift the printed word above and beyond cold words on a page. He and Barry J. Northern founded Cast of Wonders in 2011 and can be found narrating or hosting the occasional episode, or working on projects behind the scenes. Marguerite Kenner

Marguerite Kenner is a dual-national American living in the UK. She’s the President and CEO of the Escape Artists Foundation, the US 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing free and accessible audio short fiction to a global audience. She’s a multiple Hugo Award nominee alongside Alasdair Stuart for their weekly pop culture newsletter The Full Lid, and was the editor of Cast of Wonders from 2013 to 2019.
A practicing technology lawyer, Marguerite loves performing in audio dramas and playing video games, often where people can watch. When she’s not at genre industry events advocating for the power and value of audio short fiction, she’s mentoring and teaching legal and business skills to independent creatives.
