Barry J. Northern – Publisher and Artist
Barry is a game developer based in Bournemouth, England making freemium games for clients such LEGO and the BBC. His latest game is breaking all records on iOS, not surprising with a title like “LEGO Star Wars Yoda Chronicles”. It’s for younger kids, but if you fancy blasting alien brains check out LEGO Hero Factory Brain Attack at www.amuzo.com.
All this game developing has meant that Barry hasn’t been as active in the podcasting and fiction world as he used to be, but he still works behind the scenes at Cast of Wonders, which he started in 2011 with Graeme. The show is going from strength to strength since Barry handed over the editor’s hat to Marguerite earlier this year, giving him much more time to make games. He still does the occasional narration for other shows, such as The Drabblecast and StarShip Sofa, and appears on the show from time to time.
Graeme Dunlop – Host and Sound Producer
Graeme is a Software Solution Architect. Despite his somewhat mixed accent, he was born in Australia. He loves the spoken word, and believes it has the ability to lift the printed word above and beyond cold words on a page. He lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife Amanda, and crazy boy dog, Jake.
Marguerite Kenner – Editor
Marguerite is a native Californian who has forsaken sunny paradise to be with her one true love and study law in Merrye Olde England. She currently wears so many hats that she needs two heads. When she’s not grappling with legal conundrums or editing Cast of Wonders, she can be found narrating audio fiction, rockclimbing, studying popular culture (i.e. going to movies and playing video games) with her partner Alasdair Stuart, or curling up with a really good book. Her personal blog lives at www.margueritekenner.com, or you can find her on Twitter via @MuseofChaos.
Cast of Wonders’ theme songs “Appeal to Heavens”, “Neversus”, and “August” are by Alexye Nov from Music Alley.
